Community Based Vouchsafing, Character Recommendation, and Sponsor Reform Key to Immigration Security

I propose that we implement a system of community vetting that relies on and obliges applicants to present a sharply higher standard of distributed sponsor responsibility and referring country of origen credentials.

We want to have an immigration policy that is sensible and humane; family reunification is an important component of immigration process. We just need more assurances that those coming here are indeed coming to make the country stronger, which the vast majority are, and not to harm or disrupt our way of life.

Intelligence of the sort that only can come from family members, friends, and work associates back in their originating nations is what's needed on a broader scale than is solicited now would better serve our national interests.
